Kick-In
When the ball crosses the touchline, play resumes with a kick-in (no throw-in)
Corner Kick & Goal Kick
As per standard football rules
Back Pass
Goalkeeper may receive a back pass, but cannot use hand to receive it
Must release the ball within 5 seconds
Goalkeeper Role
May leave the penalty area (no hand use outside the box)
Sliding Tackles
Strictly prohibited
Result in a yellow card + 2-minute suspension (sin bin rule)
Dangerous tackles may result in a red card
No pushing, aggressive contact, or use of elbows
Referee’s decisions are final
Play stops immediately in case of injury; substitutions allowed
Yellow Card
Results in a 2-minute suspension (team plays with one less player)
Red Card
Player is sent off and cannot return in the current match
Team should only play with the remaining number of players (e.g. if one (1) player gets a red card, then only five (5) players are able to participate for the remaining duration of that match).
Cumulative Warnings:
If a player receives three (3) yellow cards in different matches, they are suspended for the next match
For the avoidance of doubt, if a player receives a red card in the tournament, they are suspended for the next match
Direct shots from kick-off, free kicks and corner kicks: allowed
Punctuality
Teams must arrive at least 5 minutes before kickoff
Late arrival may result in a forfeit
Uniform Requirement
All players must wear proper kit and shin guards
Victory Conditions. Points:
Win: 3 points | Draw: 1 point | Loss: 0 points
For Final and 3rd place matches, penalties shall take place if the match finishes as draw.
